Magic Deck 8 plumbing issues still?

If the cabin has a sewer odor in the bathroom or half bath take a glass of water and pour it down the floor drains. A lot of the times the p traps dry out and allows the odor to back up to into the cabins themselves. That's not to say there are outside issues but a lot of the time the smell in the cabins can be relieved by doing the above.

We have used this solution many times and it does work. Also -- buy a Yankee room freshner and hang it in there -- it does a world of good.

The master shower wouldn't drain and a toilet wouldn't flush in 8032 recently.

I am sorry to say we had this in 8032 8034 and 8534. They can remotely flush the toilet from guest services. We had an area outside 8034, that had a " liquid" spill, with dehumidifiers and 8534, two toilets block, then flush themselves, and an air con panel fall down over night with a bang.

Now I would not wish to over worry readers, all issues were resolved quickly, by calling concierge or GS, but it has been an issue.

The master shower and toilet seem to have some connection, not flow wise, but seem to get overwhelmed.

Ugh -- disappointing they can't keep this from reoccurring!

We just got off the Magic ( Room 8520) and had no smells at all. Wonderful trip.

Had 8020 on the 12-night Med cruise in 2014 and 8508 on the 7-night Northern Europe cruise in 2015 with no smells. We have 8508 on the 12-night British Isles cruise in June, so I will confirm if it is not there again.
