Magic December 30, 2016 6 Night Western Caribbean

Thanks Aqua Dame and Princess Shmoo!
I would like to be the organizer of the FE Group for this cruise. Enable to start a conversation, I need to go on the Test Board to up my posts? I hope I read this right? I will follow the rules and go on the Test Board because I am 4 posts shy. Hopefully, I could start this FE Group going using the "Conversation" route.
Once you've posted 10 times the conversation feature will be added to your account. This typically take about 30-60 minutes. By clicking on someone's avatar or username, if you see "Start a conversation" in the next window, then you have the feature.

My Test Board thread is titled Test for 10.

No need to start your own thread there, just post on one of the already existing threads.

I now have a conversation button, but those that want to join the FE Group do not have 10 postings yet. I am unable to start the conversation with them.

I can't wait until October when they have the activity reservations open! I am curious about what shore excursions they have in Cozumel.

So far, we have 3 families in the FE Group for this cruise. I will close the group at 20. After that, whoever wants to join will need to start a new FE Group. Also, one month prior to the cruise, I will close the group regardless if we have not met the maximum limit.

There are a lot of people signed up for FE, on Facebook. I'm wondering if our group will get bigger or should I move over to the FB group?

It is up to you. We are several months away from sailing. My last Disney Cruise, we had a bunch of families join about 2 months prior. I think we ended up over 25 families total.

That is great! I am sure everyone is super excited! I would still like to see if anyone is interested in this one. So if anyone who joins this cruise meet want to participate in this FE group, inbox me.

Glad that you are hopping onboard! If you could inbox me (start conversation) with info, I could send you the list of our FE group.

Any suggestions for good hotels in Miami close to the terminal? Its seems most cruises are out of Port Canaveral so no one talks about Miami

I've noticed that too. We're staying at Comfort Suites Miami Airport North, Miami Springs. They have FREE breakfast and FREE shuttle service to the port.

LindyWebb, If you prefer to stay closer to the port, go to Expedia and enter Port of Miami, FL as your destination for hotels. There will be lots of hotel options. Most have shuttles to the cruise terminal. The Comfort Suites Miami Airport sounds like a great deal!

We are staying at Marriott's Doral Villas for a few days before the cruise mostly because they are villas and we can make food and relax before heading onto the ship for major fun and entertainment. Plus we can access The Trump National which has a great pool and kids center. The downside is figuring out transportation from the airport to the villas and from the villas to the port. I didn't realize how hard it would be - the hotel only offers super shuttle as an option - but I'm not fond of super shuttle.

Anyone else looking at transportation options?

We are flying into FLL on the 28th. We need to find a quick hotel to stay in for the night. On the 29th, we'll have to get a car service to take us to Comfort Suites Miami North. We'll take the shuttle to the port on the 30th.
