We'll be the sisterhood of the DOTD![]()
What is everyone ordering from Shirley?
Not sure I want to get a tree, but what other fun things should I consider? Her note to Melanie about being a small business really touched me. I would like to support her!
And I don't want to get snacks, I find cruise food to be overwhelming as it is...too much yum.
So important to remember how fragile life is, and to take every opportunity to celebrate life with family. That is one of the reasons we love DCL vacations -the entire family can gather and spend quality time together (no washing dishes or grumpily going to the grocery store!) and celebrate. My 3 kids will start going off to college in the next couple of years, so each remaining vacation takes on increasing urgency...
Spent my lunch hour buying delightful FE items! SO MUCH FUN!
Happy Veteran's Day to all our Vets (including the several in my family)!

Did your docs come through Royal Mail or another delivery company? Did you need to sign for them?![]()
WooHoo!!! I like that idea. We should have shirts made.
I would buy a shirt from Cafe Press if we can come up with an idea. Anyone else?
I would love a copy of the mickey ears with Santa hat please.....Me, me... I wanna be the 'drunk of the day'. Oh wait... DRINK of the Day!You know, I went on a 7 day cruise last year and didn't even KNOW there was a 'Drink of the Day!' Wow... scary.
Hi Guys. I haven't been on the boards in a LONG time. My older daughter made the soccer team and she has had practice every day since. And... I took on another position on the PTA 'cause somebuddy quit. Am I crazy or what? Oh well...
Welcome back, Rick and Lori. Hope you had a great time. We are counting down the days here. I hope next week we can start magnets. I have a magnet with mickey ears and santa hat for the door portal if anyone wants a copy let me know.
Thank you to all our wonderful military personnel who have dedicated themselves to serving our country. Including my 20 year old nephew who recently enlisted with the Air Force.

Our travel agent says that Disney is going to take any alcohol we try to take onboard (beer/wine/other). I didn't think that was true. Can anyone tell me?
Those are almost the exact words I said back to them. I'm beginning to think that we are dealing with a travel agent that knows very little about her business. That rule applies to most of the other cruise lines, even some allow 2 bottles of wine per person. Thanks!I have never heard of a problem as long as you bring the alcohol on board in either one of your carry on bags or a collapsible cooler with no ice. I do know of people that lost their bottles because they packed them in their luggage rather than in their carry on. You will be fine as long as you follow their rules which are pretty lenient.
She said they would keep it until the end of the cruise. Thought I would clarify! Anyway, I swear I saw someone with a rolling type cooler going through on our last cruise. Have the rules changed?
Do you think she was talking about any alcohol you buy on the trip duty free? I think that has to be held until the end of the cruise and cannot be consumed on board. I could be wrong on that, but I think that's right and could be what she is confusing with taking on board your own alcohol...![]()
