We have been trying candles at Magic Candle Company.

Which ones have you tried and recommend or NOT recommend?

We recommend Wilderness Resort and do not recommend African Lodge so far.
What do you recommend that we try next?
(We have stayed at AKV, PVB, and BRV.) (Our next stay is BLT, AKV, and BRV.) (HHI home resort)

I have tried the Polynesian and Riviera and love them both! I haven't stayed at those resorts to be able to compare to the actual scents but they are both on my list for this summer.

I love Little Old Christmas Shop.

Thought I would love Flying over Orange Groves...Soarin' over them at DCA on Monday brought a tear to my eye and I'm afraid this scent does too. Way too strong for my little apartment!

I've tried Pirate Life and Splash too, which are kind of fun but I don't burn them very often.

Thought I would love Flying over Orange Groves...Soarin' over them at DCA on Monday brought a tear to my eye and I'm afraid this scent does too. Way too strong for my little apartment!

I've tried Pirate Life and Splash too, which are kind of fun but I don't burn them very often.

Wish I could find a scent similar to Disney HHI lodge!

I'd try it! Had a monster day at work yesterday and texted my dad "I would really like to be sitting around the fire at HHI right now!"

Most scents are good but avoid the oils. Yuck. And watch the wood wick, one almost set my house on fire because it burned so high. And I had trimmed the wick way down. Fortunately I was close by and was able to blow it out! I like the Flying Over Africa, I can picture the elephant scene from Soarin' when I smell it!

We ended up subscribing to candles a few years ago, then swapped to oils.

The candles are better, but the oils did let us bulk up on variety.

The only ones I would say no to are the Haunted Mansion one (smells like musty building, dissappates to farts) and Walt's office... now Walt's office is ok in a literal "old man" feel office, but anywhere else it smells oddly out of place and like you stepped back in time to some old guy's office.

I bought the Flying Over Orange Groves hand sanitizer and it was way too strong, very artificial scent. I had to wash my hands with regular soap and water a couple times to get rid of the scent. Haven't bought anything from Magic Candle Company since.

Totally agree with the wood wick in these. I quit buying them because you could heat your house with the mile high flame! And if your house was dusty...I swear the dust in the air sparked

My favorite candle is the Main Street Bakery. When they had their buy 2 get 1 free I also bought the Confectionery and Mickey Waffles scents. Also bought the Beach Club/Grand Floridian but surprisingly to me it’s not a favorite.

Just ordered the 4 pack with our parents. Plus the DIS discount!
Parents got Wilderness Resort and Popcorn Stand, we got Contemporary and Pineapple Whip.

Magic Candle Company has great customer service as well!
We had an issue with our first order and they made it right.
That is why we bought 4 candles this time! haha

Can't disagree with this enough on the oils. We have over 60 of them and most of them are fantastic but be aware some of them are the same scent just rebranded for different rides/resorts. They disclose this on the website. We love Poly, Beach Club, Mine Train, Christmas Shop, Pecan Mickey Waffles, Haunted, Germany, Pinocchio's Village, Floridian, Floridian Christmas, Grey Stuff and Wilderness Resort.

We just got “Back In Time” in our subscription box. Very nostalgic 80’s smell. Does anyone know what Disney ride/resort/shop/etc this is supposed to smell like? I simply can not figure it out.
