Magic cabin 8600 vs 8602

I currently have cabin 8600 on the Magic and 8602 just opened up. Do I want to switch? I did read that it looks like 8600 has a little overhead protection which would be ideal for my fair skinned toddler and husband. Is this true? I know 8602 has the huge balcony. Which should I pick!?!

8600 is overlooked by Cabanas. We were offered that one on the WBTA this year but turned it down. Not sure if 8602 would be the same, but just be aware that everyone can see onto your balcony so no naked sunbathing!!!!!

In 8600 the bedroom is interior with no outside natural light. 8602 has patio doors as does the sitting room area - would personally go for 8602 but as mentioned you are very exposed on the balcony and they also used to hose down the deck above which washes onto the balcony (this may have changed since refit).

I recently stayed 2 weeks in Walt Suite and would chose 8602 over this. Would be interested to see any post refit reviews.

There was prior to the refit and although I think they have shortened the balcony during the refit that has changed the area off the living area rather than the bedroom end I think.

There is a door in the bedroom and a door in the living area by the pull out sofa.

I also posted a review of the room in the cabin review section with more complete info. It is a nice room and I'd stay again.
