I had a lot of fun and I'm not even a train enthusiast. We waited outside of the park and the train pulled in a little before 7:30. It (the actual engine) only centers up under the train station for this tour and publicity shots so it's a great photo op. Wish they had PP photographers. At the moment I can't remember if we had pins with our names labeled on or if we had plastic sleeves with paper name tags, sorry. We went in walked up to the station, talked a few minutes about the various engines and their history (got to see the really early morning happenings on main street), then boarded the train. The guide is one of the engineers and we wore headsets so that she kept a running commentary and trivia monologue at various times she would stop and answer questions as well. We rode around the park to the area just before Fantasy Land then we reversed to the train yard (saw a lot of backstage and a roads etc), then we got off, looked in (but didn't enter the round house (which is not round) and got a chance to sit up in the wheel house. Eventually that train left to start running for the day, but they brought out another train and we got to watch them light the fire which was really cool, and we rode that train back through the backstage area and up to Fantasy Land where we took on other riders but she kept talking to us in the headset. When we returned we went into the station and they had chairs set up off to the side and we got to see some vintage photos and schematics of Walt and his early trains. Then they gave us each a pin (I've heard it was designed by one of the engineers but she couldn't confirm that), and then we were done. I think that may have been around 10:30.
