I'm looking at our bands and one is listed for my 2yo. Is this right? He has no ticket or dining.

Will I need it for FP kiddie rides, I guess?
Do they stay on well? He hates bracelets. Will he be able to get it off? I may have DH wear two..

I was also wondering about how the Magic Bands work for the little ones. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old and I know that neither one of them are going to want to be wearing it. My husband and I figured that we would both just wear 2 of our little ones decided that they didn't want to have it on any longer on a given day.

slzer0 - We are going to be down in Disney during the same time as you at the Coronado Springs (our trip is the 12th through the 20th)

I didn't think it was possible to book FP for people without a ticket? I haven't been able to include my 2yo in any FPs, and I will just keep his MB as a souvenir because it will serve no practical purpose in the parks or the resort for him!

Awesome, maybe we will run into each other at the pool or somewhere! We will have 2yo DS and 18yo DD.. she will be the one with pink hair (or some other crazy color lol)

Ok that's what I was wondering. I am still far from my FP booking date.

When we went last September we we're a test family for the magic bands. My then 2 year old didn't get a magic band, because he didn't need a ticket. He was allowed to go on every ride with us that we had FP+. My five year olds didn't mind wearing their bands and wore them the entire trip. I think they made them feel special. They loved scanning them for the attractions and opening the door to our room.

The under 3 don't need to wear them. They don't need tickets or FP+. The band won't do anything but open the door to your room. I think it is nice that they get them, so there isn't a posibility of them feeling left out.

The 5 yo will need theirs. Just remember you can pull the center portion of the band out to make it smaller for a childs wrists. That would make it more comfortable for them. If you do that, though, you can't put it back. So, it would be hard for an adult to wear. You always have the option of putting it in a pocket, though.
