Magic Bands?

Sorry if this has been asked and covered before, I checked but was batting zero. Does everyone get Magic Bands, and is this now the ticket for everything around the resorts and parks? Thanks.

Everyone staying on property gets one. You use them for Fastpasses, for dining reservations, for buying stuff, for park admissions and as a room key. Anyone not staying on property can go to the kiosk. Although that's not recommended.

Well based on what everyone is saying about waiting in lines at the kiosks for hours, I wouldn't suggest it. That's up to you. You could probably get on the rides faster. If you want to spend the day waiting in the kiosk line that's your problem

I just saw a post on a facebook group, the poster arrived today at 11:00am and got her 3 requests:

11:40 Big Thunder
12:40 Buzz
1:50 Space Mt

I knew that. I was responding to DisneyAllyC's comment about how it's not recommended for people staying off property to use the kiosks to get FP+.
