Magic bands

How long we'll they be optional for? What bout those whom can't where them?

No one knows if and when they will be mandatory. Nothing had said you have to wear them on your person. You can put them in a belt loop or a bag etc. I suspect I will end up with multiple bands as I wouldn't trust my girls to keep them on.

I am just asking because I have sensory issues but not autistic i already checked but any way wanted to see if they are considering people like me and others simpler to me

Don't worry...everything I have read says that guests will be given a Magic Band and RFID card (like a "key to the world card"). You will have the option to use either one, and even switch off between the two.

You don't have to wear them you can hook them on you bag or put them in your bag. Soon they will be selling fancy ones and I am sure ones that will clip on your lanyard. You do not have to get one to be able tithe vendors the RFID card can so most of it and you so not have to wear it if you don't want to. Disney just thought that it be easier to they are removable like a watch band.

When we switched our annual passes to RFID cards, we were also told they are looking at other options like key rings besides the bands and cards.

The main point is the RFID; the bands are just one way to 'package' it.
And, the bands allow them to market other services, like covers and decorations for the bands.

I cannot wear one either, so I was just going to bring a caribiner and hook it to my belt loop.

I cannot imagine pushing a wheelchair with a big obnoxious thing on my wrist! It took me years to even find a med alert bracelet I was okay with!

How do you transport other things that people normally wear? If you don't wear a watch, perhaps you use your cellphone to keep time. Where do you keep your cellphone? You could put your magic band there too.

Do you have to have ID visible at work? If so, what do you use to keep it attached to your clothing? You could do that with a magic band too.

There are a lot of solutions out there to help yourself. You just have to relate it to something you already do successfully.
