Sorry I know this goes on resorts but I have to ask we have to separate rooms all on one bill so for charging privileges can we have 3 separate credit cards one for room A and 2 for room B

ALL MBs connected to you in your MDE account will work for all aspects of MB use, simultaneously.

You do not link anything "to" a MB.
Everything is put into your MDE account, and your MB has access to the things in that account.

For the second part of your question, yes, you can ask at the front desk of the resort to separate account charges to different cards based on different MagicBands.

You'll get the free ones before so you can always decorate them with nail polish or sharpies (with clear nail polish on top of the sharpie) if you want to make them different.

You know what would be very cool is if there was a way to add gift cards to your MDE account I know it we'll never happen it still well be cool though

Last year I ended up with problems with our magic bands working with the resort door at the end of our trip and they had to give us a set of gray ones to use with the resort door when they couldn't figure it out.. All the bands showed up fine on our MDE, they were all active and had worked fine at the start of the trip. Then we just had more bands haha! So when I've thought about purchasing one of the for purchase magic bands either in the parks or online, I always wonder if they would really work with the resort door? Of if we would have to go to the front desk and go through that again.

You can always pay off your room account with gift cards. Just do it before the last night, when the credit card on file will be charged automatically for any balance.
