Magic Bands with water?

How water proof are the magic bands, Can I swim with them, can they take rain when it rains or do I need to remove them.

Water won't hurt them. The kids swam every day for a week and never took them off

They're rated to either 20 feet or 20 meters, can't remember for certain.
Either way, swimming pools and showers are not going to be a problem.
