Magic Bands - who is the expert???

Ok so I have a unique situation and was wondering if anyone was the guru on these bands. Seems like more work than what it's worth in all honesty. I am a DVC member bringing down 4 other couples in March (5 couples, 5 rooms) all on our points. In addition we are paying for their admission to Epcot.

So...

1) How do I order their Magic bands for them since I received all the boxes? Or do they need to do them on their own?

2) How do I pay for the entrance to epcot but have it linked to their bands?

3) Can I have their reservation numbers and mine all linked together for easing ordering? If I do that will they link all the credit cards for purchases together then? Don't want that to happen

4) Can I have all the bands sent to me?

Last thing to complicate this even more, my wife and I are annual pass holders so we want that linked to these bracelets for our March trip. However we are going back down again in April with the kids so can the annual passes then be switched to the new april bracelets?

On another note can we just not do bands and use old school keys? not sure 10 adults want to walk around with silly Mickey bands on anyway.

If you add all of the individuals to your Family & Friends list in your MDE account, you can link all of the room reservations to your account. You would select the appropriate room occupants during the linking process for each reservation. If you do it this way, you will be the one that needs to customize the MagicBands for all of the reservations.

2) How do I pay for the entrance to epcot but have it linked to their bands?
If you are going to purchase a single day ticket, there are no discounts available. You can purchase them on-line and select the will call option. The will call confirmation number can be used to link the tickets to MDE and then assigned to the appropriate individual MDE profiles.

3) Can I have their reservation numbers and mine all linked together for easing ordering?
See #1 above.

If not already done, you should have a 'Travel With' noted on all reservations if you want to try and have them located near each other.

The CC used for room charging is setup during the on-line check-in process or by the front desk at the resort. If you use on-line check-in, it's by individual reservation.

4) Can I have all the bands sent to me?
Yes. You can have the MagicBands shipped to any US address. The shipping address is set during the customization process.

Nothing is actually stored on the MagicBands. Your AP would be linked to your MDE profile and the MagicBand reads from that profile. All MagicBands assigned to an individual have access to the same benefits and entitlements.

You can request KTTW cards at check-in. By March, it's likely that the legacy FP system will be gone. If not, KTTW cards issued then will not have an active magnetic stripe and will not work in any legacy FP machines.
