Magic Bands Upgrade

Ordered my Flynn Rider & I Am Goofy bands. Feeling a bit hypocritical because I agree us December people should wait, but after messing this up twice, I don't trust Disney enough to be considerate of others in this case.

That said, it says my order should be delivered 10 business days before our trip. So maybe they did learn a little something? That so many are still having issues speaks volumes.
 
I was finally able to order my Castle band and had to get Vader for my hubby. He was wanting Groot. I still don’t understand why earlier this morning Groot and Castle were options but I kept getting an error or the castle band yet I was able to order fine this afternoon.
 
SO now .. items are in stock? (But some are selling out quickly again?) Wow.

Just a note (in case some missed my previous post) .. Disney (without my knowledge) just sent me the bands I ordered way back on the 2nd day. (I should actually be getting them today). 2 of them were premium, 1 was plain (that I wanted premium . can't remember which I picked (BB-8 maybe?).

But they sent me a $15 voucher for the shopDisney store .. to order whichever one I want from there at a later date.

(Which .. after this mess is what they should just be doing in the first place --- give you a $15 voucher for shopDisney if you opt out of the plain ones).
 
Crazy how the options are changing so fast or showing differently for different people. The only one I see right now that has me somewhat interested is the new Toy Story 4 band in black....but without having options for all 3 of us at once I don't want to order it.
 

We have 6 in our party and I ended up ordering two, the Haunted mansion wallpaper one and the castle. The other people in the party got so frustrated that every time the options changed, but they time we picked all 6 and tried to order it would error out, or bands would show available and they'd error when trying to order. So we ordered 4 in the regular colors and two that we really wanted, that were available at the time. It wasn't worth the stress or effort to keep waiting. If we want the ones we couldn't get we'll use the DVC discount and just buy them at the hotel. Good luck to everyone else. Hopefully you will at least get some you like and wanted.
 
I had waited it out too long. Long story short, our trip is mid July and a couple of weeks ago the site was saying I had 2 days left to order bands for home delivery. To much dismay I went ahead and ordered regular color bands since they were out of the upgraded ones. They arrived at the house a few days ago and now I see there’s a restocked inventory. Do you think it’s possible to re-order the bands to get upgraded ones and return our solid color ones?

I cannot even make solid color MB selections, let alone the upgraded ones. When I click on the link to see my MB order, I get a blank page or an error page. This happens every time I try to look at it since the upgrade option rolled out. Has this happened to anyone else? We made our color selections before the upgrade came out, hopefully we still get the colors we asked for.

I switched to Explorer - yeah it's BS IT but it worked

You might try their Twitter account. They've helped me a couple of times and they've gotten back to me pretty quickly. If they can't help you they can maybe point you in the right direction.
 
Thanks for assistance but no luck. Tweet unanswered and after being on hold for 70 minutes they said since other ones shipped out it’s done deal... that I can’t return them and reorder. I explained the app told me I only had 2 days left to customize for home delivery for my mid July trip so I just ordered but she said it’s 11 days before arrival. Ugh. Oh well. Thanks all anyways.
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned. But the voucher I got sent to use at shop disney said it can't be used for limited edition bands. But I ordered a LE band and it accepted it. It cost me $15 instead of $10 though. But if someone wants the $15 discount you CAN use it on the LE bands not just regular ones.
 
I’m still unable to order a premium band. I’ve been trying since they restocked yesterday with no success. I keep getting retry/dismiss either when I first click on proceed to checkout or after I’ve entered my payment info and click on purchase. I’ve tried using my iPhone, iPad, internet explorer, Microsoft edge, Firefox, google chrome and incognito google chrome. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies, changed my cc used and even went into my account and changed my cc number on file since I’ve seen people not have to enter billing info as it pulled from there, and still not working. I tried calling last night but the wait was well over 45 mins so I emailed the AP help group to see if they could do anything. I just don’t understand why it’s not allowing me to order one. 🤨😞😡
 
I tried repeatedly yesterday to order two bands. Tried Chrome, tried incognito, tried IE, cleared caches. No go. Every time it kept saying there was a problem. I'm guessing the problem was they were already sold out again--I got a message in my mde message area about high demand, yada yada. So now both bands I tried to buy are gone. I wish they'd get their stuff together. I tried when they originally came out first day and no success then either.

I ordered Thursday afternoon. I did have trouble submitting it, but finally went through after about 5 attempts. Got a confirmation number right away and charged my card.

Received the notification email that they shipped today, with a tracking number.

Castle for the wife and Pirates for me.

Mine is showing in My MagicBands in MDE.

Frustrating! Looked just now and there are only 2 of the upgrades left. Flynn or Darth Vader! Seriously Disney.... get it together!!! >:(
