I just received a call to let me know that the magic band I ordered is sold out and I can now only choose a solid color band - they are sold out of all upgraded bands and even some solid colors (I only hand a choice of 5 colors). Disappointed as my trip is a week, so there is nothing that can be done.
Did they call you unprompted, or did you contact them first? I'm wondering if they've stopped shipping/processing orders and are now trying to deal with them in the order of trips (so since your trip is next week, they called you, but since my trip isn't for a few more weeks, they haven't dealt with my order yet)? Since my order is stuck between the "confirmed" stage and the "shipped" stage, I'm hoping they'll give me an update soon...
