You can use a cross border pickup/shipping company like crossborderpickups.ca if you really want them. If you live in the GTA, you can pick them up, otherwise, they can ship them to you.

The reason I was told was that the RFID technology in the bands hasn't been approved for Canada, so they therefore can't be shipped. Not that there's any reason they couldn't get it approved it in Canada, it's just that they don't see a benefit in spending the money to get it approved.

I don't think it is worth doing the cross border shipping companies for these. Just pick them up when you get there.
