first time mb holders, kids are customizing them now, but where do we find scanners to do things in the parks?. I saw tim tracker scan his at a big rock in a water park & it sprayed some kids.. any more?

I believe that would have been Volcano Bay (Universal) and their band. MB's will be used for park entry, fastpasses, room key, charging back to your room (assuming you're staying onsite), etc.

If you have some of the special edition MBs, some of them cause the ride tap points to flash or play sounds but other than that, I'm not aware of anything else they do that's special (beyond the list above).
