sorry if this has already been asked and if its a stupid question.... so when you get a Magic Band do you need a computer/tablet/smart phone of some kind to book all your fastpass times in? So you would need to take somekind of device with you on holiday to make any changes then?

We are planning to stay offsite (2015) but with the reports of Oct getting busy (and is this because of the magic bands?) I may consider on site :confused3

I can only go by other posts but there are places in the theme parks you an adjust your FP or change them, there some touchscreen stations. but most people will probably use the Disney experience app on their phones

sorry, yes you can prebook them at home before you go on your computer but you don't have to. it's sounding like if you want a high demand ride like toy story mania you are best to book it before you go, so some plan of which park you're going to be in on what day is needed for this

If you're only going in 2015 you will probably have a lot more information on how this is going to work for offsite vs onsite guests by the time you are able to book so it may be better to just keep up to date with the progress of the testing and roll out and make an informed decision closer to the time :thumbsup2
