Magic Bands Out of Stock

Our magicband customize date is December 17th, and we have selected two red and two yellow (since we are going in January as the Incredibles family! Everything on the MDE page has been customized and ready to go for a while now. :)

However, today, my wife was perusing the Disney store website and saw that both red and yellow bands were missing. When I did a search, they are listed as out of stock.

Do you think that the Disney holds some of every color separately somewhere for packages, and then has a separate stash for the disney store website? I am hoping to get our bands by Christmas, but if they are out of stock, do you think that will affect our ability to get them on time, or do you think Disney has a separate stockpile for people who have purchased packages for the parks?

Thanks for any thoughts.
 
We've got a ton of every color sitting in ticket booths at the parks. I'm guessing they have separate stock for separate areas of business.
 
The Disney store has a completely different stock. Basically the free ones are given first priority and then they pack retail ones.

And even further, I do believe that the DisneyStore.com warehouse is offsite (I vaguely recall it being somewhere in the Carolinas or Georgia), and maintains it's own totally separate stock from the parks (and probably also the Shop Disney Parks App).
 

Yea the stock of MB's available to purchase on the site doesn't have any correlation to what Disney sends out to AP's and on site members. You guys are fine
 
Thanks all. Though the color of our magic band is hardly worth being upset about, we were hoping to get the red and yellow and get them in time for Christmas. Here's hoping that with a customize end date of 12.17, they manage to get here before 12.25.

They send them USPS First class, correct? If so, I am hoping we will be good to go. If not we can always put a picture of the magic band in the present! :)

Our end date was Dec. 2, they shipped on Saturday and I have them here beside me right now! You may be ok!

I know there's one here in Memphis. A Disney call center, too.
 
I think you'll be fine.

I had two sets of bands customized and shipped to me- the first was shipped out Friday, and I got them yesterday (Monday). That's not bad considering the Holiday mail slowdown, although to be fair the warehouse they shipped from is only about two states away.

I believe they are sent Parcel Post ("Parcel Select Lightweight"). The second set shipped out last night and included a red band, so they still have them in stock in whatever reserves they have for resort guests.
