Magic Bands on Check In Question

Being a paranoid type, based on past experience I have a question about what happens when you are issued magic bands at the resort. Being Canadian we do not make the grade when it comes to delivery, though they would have made the perfect Christmas present for the kids. But I digress. What I want to know is how can we confirm that what is on the magic bands matches what we have paid for? Especially when it comes to stuff like fastpasses. I know it is supposed to match what is in MDX but that app is so unstable that it is a cause for concern. From what I can see the bands themselves have no display but are more like a flash drive where you need a display device to see what they contain. Worst case scenario you pick up the bands and head to MK but aren't allowed in. As the Young Rascals sang in the 60's, "How Can I be Sure". The next line in that song is very apropos as well "In a World that is constantly changing"!!
 
Best thing to do is to simply print out what you have on My Disney Experience but you will still have to go to Guest Relations. We had a snafu with my MagicBand the first time we used it. Husband went through the turnstile just fine but I was denied. We were sent to Guest Relations and they were able to pull up everything we had on both accounts (husband had no idea he had an account), saw what the problem was (something that was both my fault's and Disney's - long story) and fixed it. Yes, it took some time but everything after that was fine. While we were a bit put off by the interruption, we decided to find humor in the situation and say, "hey! we got to experience Guest Relations!"
 
There is nothing on your MB other than a reference number. Everything else is on Disney's servers and the number on the band simply references your Disney account. If it shows on your MDE account your band will be able to reference.

We are Canadian too and just back from the Poly. The process now is the CM gets the bands and checks that they have been properly activated. If not they fully activate them, have you attach a pin, and then use a reader to ensure everything can be seen on their screens. There was a minor problem with mine that they fixed before they turned it over too me. It worked perfectly the whole trip. So no worries, you will have everything confirmed for you when you pick up the bands at the hotel.
