Magic Bands Just In Time

Just thought I would ask if this has happened to anyone else. We leave on Friday for FLorida and a check in to Animal Kingdom Lodge on Sunday and our magic bands just showed up to the house. That is cutting it a bit close. I am now so happy that I bought everyone one for Hanukkah and got them onto our account.

If you made your reservation more than 30 days out they should have gotten to you much sooner than this.
If it were me I would have been calling when I didn't have them at the usual 21-24 days prior.

I thought of calling but since I bought everyone their own band ahead of time I just sort of let it slide. And I booked this a year in advance.

It doesn't matter when you book -- they ship about 4 weeks before arrival.

Sigh for an IT tech I somewhat remiss I do not remember getting one but I assume I did.

That's odd it's so late. Ours are always at least three weeks early.

I hope that your trip is as much fun as our recent one was. The Magic is still there.

My guess is that the post office misdirected them. I've been having a ton of issues with that lately (including one of our sets of magic bands.)

Ken I noticed you're in KC. I'm also in the KC metro area on the KS side.

When I went on my trip in September they were shipped on August 10th from Davenport, FL and arrived at my house on August 14th which was 2 days early. My trip started on September 8th, 2017.

I was sent an e-mail when the MB's shipped and then about 12 hrs later tracking information showed up.

You might still see if you have tracking information to see when they were shipped out. It could have been a misrouting, a delay at your local post office, weather related issues, etc. I wouldn't anticipate it always being an issue. For mine the MBs bypassed the KC post office which usually packages goes either to there or to the Lenexa post office before being given to my assigned local post office. They just went straight to my assigned local post office.

Glad you got them in time though!
