Magic Bands, hope not a bad omen

So I spent a lot of time customizing our Magic Bands. Double checked all the colors and that all my tickets were assigned to the bands. Rechecked when I got the email that my bands were ready to ship.

Today they come and half of them are plain grey? I guess something got messed up and Disney just sent the plain grey ones.

Hope this is not a bad omen when we go to use them in March.

That really stinks!! Check out the thread about customizing your magic bands. You can make them super cool and nobody has to know they are grey underneath. Mine ship tomorrow. Fingers crossed for the correct colors!

I was told two weeks ago by a cast member that purple and sometimes other colors were not currently available. I would suppose if someone picks a color that is out of stock the generic grey is substituted?

I have heard of this happening. I think if you contact CR, they'll be able to get it corrected and either reship the correct ones, or have them waiting for you when you check in.

I checked MDE the other day, and half of my MB had changed to grey from the colors that I had selected. I think that any time there is an update in your acct, the MB customization can be compromised - Disney IT had been working in my acct for a royal mess-up. I changed mine back, but everyone needs to check their bands right before shipment.
