My son and his fiancee leave for their honeymoon Sunday. They are so swamped that I've taken over some Disney planning for them. DS thinks I know everything about WDW, but I've not done Magic Bands or FP+, so my information is OLD! I also am pretty smamped myself since we're having a big party for the rehearsal dinner!

Their Magic Bands have not arrived. Am I correct in assuming that they will be able to get them at the resort when they check in without any problems?

At a WDW on-site resort, yes.

If you have not customized their bands, meaning choosing a color and making FP+ selections, their grey MagicBands will be waiting for them at check-in.

If you have customized them, it may be too close to check in, so their chosen color option would be waiting at check-in.

It may not be too late for the first option - have you logged into their reservation in MDE?

I customized the bands three or four days ago and have made several dining reservations -- I even got BOE! I have not done FP+ selections although I'm trying to find some time today or tomorrow to do that. I wanted them to "approve" the dining reservations first. There aren't many evening extra magic hours and I don't see them getting up and doing the early ones although DS says they're going to.

They are staying onsite at Coronado.

Is there anywhere I can flag them as "honeymoon" and does it matter? I don't think that's noted anywhere.

If you haven't received them yet, and you have customized them; they're more than likely at the resort for check in.

As above poster mentioned, calling is the best way to notify them of a special occasion. :)
