Magic Bands for UK fans!

Hi - first post so be gentle with me!! I'm taking the kids for the first time in August and wondered if anyone could tell me how to get the Magic Bands? Holiday is booked and paid for - do I go through the travel company or is this something I do direct with Disney?? Soooooo excited!!!

Uk visitors don't get their Magic Bands shipped. You pick them up when you check into your resort if you are staying onsite.Enjoy your trip!!!

Hello and welcome

If you have not already done so, you need to set up a My Disney Experience account. If you already registered with a login on the disney website in the past, the same username and password will work.

If you booked through a travel agent you will need to follow the prompts on the screen to link your reservation to your MDE account. This will enable you to select FP+ and customize your magic bands. If you don't select colors online in advance, you will be issued with standard gray bands at check in, which will work just fine, but it's fun to pick the colors and put your name on them.

Sorry to hijack this, but on a similar theme, do guests staying at the Swan or Dolphin get magic bands?

No Swan & Dolphin aren't owned by Disney so they aren't provided free.

You can buy them for $12.95+ tax though if you want them

Thanks Elise, I knew they weren't owned by Disney, that's why I was curious, however I don't think that's a bad price so would probably pay x
