We haven't been to WDW since 2013, so we haven't used FP+ yet (spent the last two years going to Disneyland instead). We have a split stay, so MDE shows that we can order two sets of magic bands. Should we?? Is there any reason to order two sets? I'm guessing that we make our FP+ 60 days ahead of time before our first reservation....and then make our second set of FP+ 60 days out from our second reservation? Is this why we need two sets of magic bands- so that our first set has our first set of FP+ for our Poly DVC stay and the second set has our second set of FP+ for our AKV stay?

MDE shows we have tickets, which we did order from them separately.....we are DVC members so do not have a package. How does MDE know to link these tickets to us??

Sorry for so many questions. I have looked at the FP+ Priorities thread, but it doesn't address split stays....

TIA!

No you don't need both sets of magic bands, both will be interchangeable so unless you want different colors to match to your outfits, not reason for them. They have nothing to do with making FP+ or tickets, they are associated with your room reservation, one will open the doors to both the resorts, get you in the parks, allow you to charge and tell the cast members your name when you tap the little mickey head.

You'll book all your FPs for all park days. Your FP booking window remains open for Stay #1 through the end of Stay #2.

All data is in your MDE account. Your MB provides the link to that data.
