Magic Bands for off site guests

Besides the Fast Pass what would be the benefit for off-site guests to have a magic band?

We don't use the fast pass system and we stay off site with relatives for free so I wan't sure if we should purchase some since they are now available to everyone

I'm pretty sure there's nothing a Magic Band can do that a RFID enabled card can't. Except fit around your wrist.

So besides fashion and/or convenience, there's no real reason to buy a MB.

We just returned from WDW. We stayed on property, and had MBs. I liked having them. It kept me from having to fumble with my wallet or keep up with a hotel room key.

The cut back on the number of FPs hurt a little, but I suppose they're going to do that either way...
