Magic Bands for Florida Annual Passholders?

Hey guys, can someone advise me please-I just bought two FL Resident Annual Passes to WDW and I have to take my e certificate to the park along with our IDs to get our passes I guess-but how do I get the Magic Bands?? I really don't know how the magic bands work. I would like to pick mine out. How do I then link it to my annual pass? Sorry, the last time I was at Disney was before they even came out with Magic Bands. Thank you so much in advance!! I'd like to visit asap

MBs will be SENT to you.
HOWEVER, that will not happen until AFTER you have activated and used your AP for the first time.

Some time after your first WDW visit using the AP, you will be notified on your MyDisneyExperience account that you can customize your AP MagicBands.
Do so, and then your MBs will be sent to your home.

So, yes, you will not have MBs for your first visit with your APs.

BTW, you do not NEED to have MBs in order to enter the parks or make and use FP+, etc.
The MBs are just a different way to "carry" and use your tickets.

Good call. We had to link our actual passes to our account. And we bought our passes at the gate, so we didn't have magic bands our first trip.

if you're staying on property, you will get your hotel MBs that you can use in the meantime! (I know you're a FL res, but we always stayed on property when we drove to Orlando)

and you can also buy a neat one (characters or themes, not the normal colors) as soon as you get into the park if you want it that quickly.....just link it to your MDE

AP MBs are sent Free to AP holders.

yes, if you want to buy a specialty band, there is a charge....but if you just order the normal MBs that everybody gets after your pass is activated, yes they are free....

And remember, you don't NEED a MB. You'll get them, if you customize them online after your first visit using the APs, but you don't NEED them.
