Magic Bands at Resort/Park

We weren't able to find any magic bands we liked on the website and now too late to order (arrive on Monday). Can we purchase magic bands at the resort/parks, and if so anyone have any idea how much they cost and if the selection is any better than on the website? TIA!

Yes you can, the selection is slightly better. The prices I found were $30 and up. Resorts to me had a better selection than the parks, but you could find them anywhere

I found World of Disney and the pin store in Frontierland in MK (unsure of its name but it's near Country Bear Jamboree) to have the biggest selection. The resorts have a decent selection as well. When I visited the gift shop in Jambo house at AKL their selection was pretty good.

I believe the basic Magicbands without a design are $19.99 and the themed ones are $29.99. I bought a themed one back in September and with tax it was around $32.

I believe all of the resort/hotel gift shops have some magic bands. Or at least they did on our last trip but that was before the shortage started. No idea what the selection would be like now.

I've often been surprised by the variety of MBs at the Pin Traders shop in Disney Springs.

It's been pre-covid that I was last there so not sure they still have as big a selection. Worth a quick look if you'll be in DS as Pin Traders tended to have more special edition MBs and a wider range of the solid color ones than other shops.

We just got back Monday and saw a lot of Magic Bands in all the shops, World of Disney and the pin shop in Disney Springs both had a huge assortment if you’re looking to buy before you go into the parks.

I plan to get ours at the resort when we check in. Bigger selection indeed
