I know they're still in testing, but I'm assuming by next year they'll be fully in use for onsite guests. I'm sure some of you have done split stays, or at least not started your stays at Disney, yet still been involved in the testing this year. How did it work if you wanted your tickets activating before you checked in at the Disney hotel when it came to booking your fast passes?

This year we noticed that the fast passes for some of the main rides were gone by 9:30, or the come back times were very late. Is this usual for October, or could it be more to do with the resort guests booking up all the fast passes beforehand?

Next year we'll be doing a split stay again, the first week offsite and then the second week onsite, so I'm confused how it'll work with the magic bands. This year we did all we wanted to do by getting to the parks for opening, but I'm not keen on the run to get to certain rides that early in the morning. Booking fast passes would work better for us.

If you tickets are tied to your resort booking from next year you won't have access to them prior to check in - it is very clear on the booking pages for WDTC UK now.

If you are buying tickets separately what ever rules apply to offsite guests will apply while offsite then resort guest rules will apply to your onsite stay.

At the moment that means no FP+ for your first week and a 60 day booking window for your onsite week. This is of course all subject to change as testing progresses! :goodvibes
