Magic Bands and split stay extreme

We are staying at 5 different Disney resorts over a two week period. Part way through the trip we have others joining us. We have been receiving all the Magic bands for the different resorts. Based on the below info for the Magic Bands FAQ thread it is my understanding that ALL of the Bands we are sent will work on all 5 or the resorts and our tickets are on all of the Bands. Is that correct? Or do we have to go in and assign the tickets and resorts as we move? Thank you.

• Yup, all the magic bands are linked to your account, and will all work interchangeably. Just like all 5 bands I have from previous trips will still work. The band is just a way to access all the information on your account.
  
• (Yes, I know eventually the long range function of my old bands will stop, but they will still work for tickets, FP, and room charges and opening the door.)

We did a split of 5 resorts last year, 3 next mo this. We opted not to get all the resort magic and, but we did get a two different colors each, more to match our outfits better, and yes we were able to interchange them at any time and they all worked.

If by any chance you have the dining plan, it is were we had a few sticky issues, but fixed by Disney, it came with how the system pulls dining credits for special tale meals such as CRT, or hDDR, they pull in the morning so if changing resorts the day you have a rescue at one of these places, you will need to fix your credits in the morning because otherwise you will have to pay for breakfast or lunch and then have them reimburse you and take the credits. So a lot of wasted time at customer service. But it all worked out and I wouldn't say it was to bad.

If you decide you only want to use one set of bands, just go to the page where all your magic bands are listed and deactivate any you don't want to use. That is extremely important if you lose a magic band.

Thanks very much. After many trips in the past, this is our first with My Magic and Fastpass plus and Magic bands. It has been a bit more confusing this time!
