Magic Bands and Photopass

Today is our last day to order photo pass through the website with the discount. I was wondering if the Magic Bands are connected to the photo pass since it is through a different website or if you still use a card even if you have the bands.

I was out at D23 this weekend and there was a booth for the Magic Bands. The cm said they could be used for photopass (probably when the program is officially rolled out). He was wearing one, he let me try it on.
