Magic Bands and Hard Copy Tickets

Hey everyone!

Sorry if this has been asked a bunch already but I haven't been on here in a very long time and I haven't had the chance to catch up a whole lot yet!

So after 2 years we have booked another Disney trip for May! We booked our plane tickets and resort stay with our reward points from our visa and then we ordered our park tickets through the Disney website. Once I got the confirmation for our hotel I added that info to our Disney Experience page. I customized our magic bands and everything and they will be shipped April 20th. However, today I got hard copy tickets delivered to my house. What I'm wondering is will our park tickets still be programmed into our Magic Bands even though we received hard copy tickets? Or is their a way to contact Disney so they will put our tickets onto our MB instead? I haven't been to Disney since MB were introduced and they are still a bit confusing to me! Thanks for the help in advance!

Your tickets are automatically linked to your MB (actually both your tickets and your MBs are linked to your profile in MDE). The hard-copy tickets are redundant. You can bring them as a back-up.

Does everyone get a hard copy of tickets? Our magicbands arrived Monday, but we never got hard copies. Should I ne concerned? Is it common for magicbands to not work?

I don't think that everyone gets hard copy tickets. I am not sure why OP got them. No reason to worry. MBs usually work fine. If you are concerned, I am pretty sure that you can go to GR once you get to WDW and pick up some hard-copy tickets.
