Magic bands and checkout

I can't get any availability to add another night onto our package. I am thinking we may just scoot over to the hilton dtd for that last night. I know our magic bands and dining plan will work to midnight on checkout day, but if we decide to then go back into the park for a bit the next morning (after a night at dtd) will we still be able to use the magic bands then, assuming we have a day left on them?

So 11/17-25 i am at VWL. I want to add on 11/25 night, but can't, so I may go to dtd hilton instead. Will our bands/tickets still work to get in the parks on 11/26 in this case?

I know the old tickets were good for 14 days after use, so just not sure what the info is pertaining to them if they are on the bands.

1- Yes.
2- Yes. The MBs are connected to YOU (your MDE account,) not a specific resort.
3- Tickets are still good for 14 days following first use, unless you make them NON-Expiring.

As long as you have valid park admission linked to your MDX account you will be able to use your magic band for park entry.


Note that the tickets are not "on the bands." The tickets are linked to your MDX account. The band is just the device used at the scan point to access the information from your account. You could do the same thing with a RFID ticket card.
