I don't know- I don't think mine is ugly. It's a nice colour (red) and has little Mickey heads on it. I'm not a fashionista so don't care either way, lol.

They are comfortable. They remind me of Swatch watch. I actually wish they had a little clock on them. Tacky at Disney?

As for heat you can always lossen the band.
