I think I ordered our magic bands yesterday on MYDISNEYEXPIERENCE I say I think because I was not given a conformation number or anything Should I have been given some kind of number? Also will they mail them to us right away or do they wait until closer to our trip?

They automatically ship after the "customize by" date.

It should be on the screen when you log in to the MDE website. It is also found if you click on magic bands and cards from the drop down menu.

they ship out 30 days before your trip if you have less then that they normally give you a day or two

MDE changes from customize to "they've shipped" when they are on the way. I think mine went out a little less than 30 days before checkin.

They will usually ship directly to the resort if you book less than 30 days out. I took an impromptu trip 2 weeks ago, and I booked about 2 weeks in advance. I was able to customize, and then picked the magic band up at the resort when I checked in.

If your under 2 weeks, it'll be grey bands they hand you at check in if needed.
