Magic band with undercover tourist tickets?

Yes. Just go to your MDE account and add the tickets to each individual person. I added 4 UT tickets to my MDE Friends and Family list. The MAgic Bands access your MDE info.

One more question - I can't get the linnk from the mousesaver newsletter to open, but how much generally do you save with that?

we have three adults and one kid...6 day hopper we saved $60. Just linked it to my MDE really easy...Undercover tourist will tell you at the right hand side how much you are saving before you purchase. :) Hey..$60 is better in our pocket right!! ( For the 6 day ticket alone it would have been $40 saving )

Are you saying you saved $60 because you bought your tickets through Undercover Tourist versus Disney directly? Or are you saying you saved $60 using the Mousesaver newsletter link to go to Undercover Tourist instead of going straight to Undercover Tourist's website directly?

I do believe the question regarding how much you saved was directed towards using the Mousesaver newsletter to buy tickets through Undercover Tourist. I saved about $1-$2 off of Undercover Tourist's website directly by using my Mousesaver newsletter link.

Oh Im sorry...I thought the Op meant Undercover Tourist versus Disney..we just compared Disney prices against Undercover Tourist website where we purchased them and were $60 cheaper than Disney...we get them from UT every year. Apologies if thats not what the Op asked. Yeah its not worth worrying about the mousesavers link at all..totally agree with you on the $2 if your lucky thing :)

No problem at all :cool2: I just figured it might be good to clarify the savings amount but ya know we're talking in text things can always get bungled up so I could be wrong as well as to what the question was :rotfl2:

Yeah it's not something to get all stressed about if you can't get the link to work though I'm in the "every little penny helps" boat but still UT is great when comparing Disney direct.

ETA after OP responsed: Yay we were both right! lol

Thank you both for the info! I guess I was actually asking both questions without being clear. I was curious how much UT could save as well as how much the newsletter link saved

I'm going to throw a fly in the ointment here. I've bought many times from UT, but for my trip in March, I bought a ticket through ParkSavers. At the time, a 7-day park hopper was $370. You buy online, then get an email confirmation, and two or three days later, get the number to link in MDE. I purchased tickets on a Thursday, and received the link code the following Monday. I believe they only operate Monday-Friday? Might want to take a look at their site as well at UT and compare prices.

I bought my last ticket through ParkSavers also. The 5 day 1 park ticket there was cheaper than UT by about $25. Added it to MDE with no problems.

I forgot to go through the Mousesavers link on some tickets I just bought. Kicking myself. But, I only would saved $1 on each tickets, so it was only losing out on $2 total.

I looked into ParkSavers and noticed there is an expiration date to use. 9 day park hopper is 12/31/2016.

Sounds great to me.

There is often discussion on this board about what that "expiration" date may or may not mean.

In the case of Disney making an expiration date on a ticket, it means that while the actual ticket may no longer valid, its original purchase price can still be used
to to help pay for a NEW ticket after the expiration date, so the cost of the ticket is not lost to the guest.

I purchased our tickets through UT and I forgot to use the Mousesavers link. I emailed UT immediately and they gave the Mousesavers' price since I just made the transaction. We got park hopper tickets and water parks and more, and still saved over $100 had we purchased the same tickets directly through Disney WITHOUT water parks and more add-on! We purchased these several months ago though. This is our second time purchasing through UT.

btw I couldn't get it to work either. I don't think I have ever figured out how to use this link, even though I have been getting UT newsletter forever.
