Magic Band tickets and Annual pass

I have no expiration tickets with 8 days left and I would like to take advantage of the annual pass for 2014/2015. My current tickets are linked to My Disney Experience. If I link my annual passes as well will Disney know not to debit my no expiration tickets when I enter the park. Can I and should I unlink my no expiration tickets?

At the park Guest Services (outside the park), you can request they set the prioritization of your tickets to make sure the APs are used first. You cannot do that yourself as far as I know.
