Magic Band Shipping

I have just asked this elsewhere but thought I would put it here too as some may have experience with it....

Sorry if this has already been asked (I got fed up looking for the answer, LOL!) For anyone who has had their Magic Bands shipped directly to their resort, how long was the option to customize your Magic Bands available? My given last date to customize was 18th October but still MDE is prompting me to customize my Magic Bands??? We leave on Sunday from the UK and under Magic Bands it says something like 'you still have time to customize your bands but act quickly as your order may be shipped soon' Is this just normal for people who are collecting their bands when they check in? I just feel it is quite close to our arrival for the bands not to have been shipped.

I leave in 13 days and mine say the same thing too, got a feeling they ship at a certain date to the resort and MDE does not seem to update. Sorry I cant be of more help.

They won't want them arriving at the resorts too early. They are all in boxes and they will need to store them.

Last I read was that for shipping to the resort you can customise with a name and colour up to 10 days out and just colours up to 5 days out.

I got the email telling me my bands had been sent to resort 3-4 days prior to check-in.

Note that I kept my UK address as shipping information, I know some people change their address to the resort which might force them to ship earlier.
