Magic Band Sharing for EMH?

Ok so I have a question?
My family is staying at the polynesian for 6 nights/7 days. Our friends will be joining our trip for the last 3 days, but they will be staying at worldmark. My question is, could I use one of my old Magic bangs (it's still active so my reservation would be on it) or like one of my grandparents who won't be attending late park nights to get my friend on rides. I'm not asking about park entry because they will have their own magicband for park tickets, I'm just solely asking for getting on rides for emh when they check if your at a resort. Will they know it's not their band?

I see you don't have many posts here so will just drop the friendly reminder that asking for ways around Disney's policys/rules or giving advice on how to do so is against board policy.

The rule is that it is that EMH is for those guests staying at select Disney resorts (all Disney owned and operated, The Swan/Dolpin, and possibly the Four Seasons on property).

Sorry I wasn't trying to go against policy. Just trying to figure out the best thing for my friend who can't afford a Disney resort and I feel bad having to leave her when I go to emh. There obviously isn't a way around it. That was all

Not sure how many you have on your reservarion already but you could add your friends to the onsite reservation for just the 3 days you need EMH for them. They'll get magic bands and be considered on site guests. I see you are staying at the Poly so to get 2 nights worth of EMH you can add them as resort guests for 1 night at $25 a person. Of course this only works if you aren't at maximum occupancy for the room. If you need 3 nights you have to add them for 2 nights on the reservation so 50 a person.
