Magic Band sent to Resort

HI All, sorry if this is not in the right location. We had our nieces staying with us in our room at Copper Creek, and we had 2 magic band ordered to go to the room (we love in Canada, so they go to the resort). Yesterday, we got lucky and we able to get a one bedroom for my nieces and their family, at Kidani. The question is, will Disney know this and send the bands to their new location/Resort or will they still show up at Copper Creek? Bit of a weird situation, so thought someone else may have been there done that....

You place orders tied to the resort reservation itself. It sounds like the Kidani one is completely new so no, it won't switch to there. Did you remove them from the CCV reservation?

I called yesterday and made the switch which included moving the 2 people originally staying with us, (and the ones who I ordered the magic band for) to the new reservation for the 1 bedroom at Kidani.

In early January I switched a 2 night stay from BCV to CCV on the day before check-in. I had ordered my daughter a MB (she had lost her previous one) for resort delivery. When we checked in to CCV, I inquired at the front desk and they confirmed the MB was still at BCV (which is what I fully expected). I was prepared to drive over to BCV to pick it up, but the Lodge sent a runner over to get it for me and I had within an hour or two.

When this has happened to us in the past (I am also in Canada), I have called Disney Merchandising and they cancelled and refunded our magicband order and just told us to re-order the bands under the new resort reservation number.
