Magic Band Question

I will be attending the MNSSHP in October. I will only be staying one night and leaving for the Disney Dream the next morning. Will I receive a Magic Band to use to my room key? I already have tickets for the party. I would love to order one of the Halloween themed decorations for the plain Magic Band. Or can I order the Halloween Magic Band and that can be loaded with my resort key? Thanks!

If you are staying at a Disney resort you'll get a magic band. That will be your room key and you'll be able to charge purchases to your room.
