Magic Band Question

What happens if you get sent a Magic Band but you end up not going on the trip? My DS may not be able to join us this summer, but we won't know until closer to time. Do you get charged?

You won't be charged for the MB. It will be sent to you along with the others for the rest of your party.

Last year 1 person in the group was iffy about going so I called and asked when the latest she could back out and still get a refund. As long as you make party changes before the last payment is due (30 days out) you will get refunded the price of DS not going (if you have paid in full already, or change the total due).

I think the OP is specifically asking about the MB; there are no charges for the resort reservation MB. Nothing happens if the person doesn't go on the trip or the whole trip is cancelled. It's still there, linked to the person.

Once the band has been sent, no charge, even if he cancels or just doesn't show up. The band is still there, assigned to him. If you remove him before the band customization ends he probably won't be assigned one.
