We will be staying at the BCV for 7 days in late Oct and I was wondering do I have to deactivate my old magic bands before i customize the new ones on my MDE? I believe my old ones are still active from what I am seeing. We just got the DxDDP and I want to make sure they are on the right bands. Also what about my old tickets do I have to set them to inactive so my new ones are linked?

You don't have to. Everything that is part of your MDX account should be accessible through any of your active bands. I don't know what you mean by "old tickets." If you have tickets you don't want to use on your account, you'll have to have them "prioritized" so the tickets you want to use get used first.

You do not have to do anything with your old bands, they will all work the same, Some people actually carry two or three with them so they can coordinate colors. All the bands are interchangeable. If you have old tickets, I'm assuming they are going to be used first so I would either move them to another account, you can set up a dummy one, or de-activate them or call Disney have them prioritize them.

If the "old tickets" have been partially used, they cannot be transferred to another account or to another person (fictional or otherwise.)

As others have said, all of your bands will work. Nothing is stored on the bands themselves. All information is stored in your MDEx account and the bands simply read that information. I now have at least two of each color (received before they added the option to decline them) and they all work interchangeably.

Thank you, what I meant by old tickets were the ones I used last year they have been already used and are no good to use this year that also goes for the MNSSHP ones as well.

I think you probably mean the old cards instead of tickets. I have several old cards and bands showing on my account. You won't have to inactivate the cards either.

You can, if you wish, deactivate any bands or cards on your account...but you cannot remove them.

Actually you can use the RFID cards. They will work just like the bands do when you touch them to a touchpoint. The only thing they won't do is upload ride photos to your account automatically.

You don't have to do anything. The old used up tickets (or ticket cards you see there) won't impact anything. The old bands won't harm anything. If you still have those old bands you can decline a new order and use the old, you can accept the new order and use both, you can leave the old ones at home and use the new. Doesn't matter. (I have 13 bands, all active, and 12 work just fine...the 13th is a weird outlier and I'm not sure why it didn't work to open my door so I leave it active until I figure that out LOL)

I kept my band from our previous trip and customized and activated a new one. Different colour. Then I was able to colour-coordinate with my outfit that day. I deactivated the card from the previous trip since I never used it.
