Magic Band question

Hi! We're going in August with a large group and already got our magic bands in the mail. My sister in law was supposed to come for a few days, but now it doesn't look like she can get off work. My friend is going to take her place if she can't come. My question is, can my friend use the magic band that came for my SIL? My SIL has never been to Disney so she hasn't used a Magic Band before. Also she was staying in a room with family members who will be there the whole week so the room isn't in her name. Thanks for any help!

Yes, she can use the MagicBands. The tickets and FPs that are also linked to the specific account profile can also be used by your friend. Her biometric scan will be linked to the ticket when she first enters a park.
