Magic Band Pick Up at check-in vs. Shipping

Has anybody had any experience with MDE saying your magic bands would be available to be picked up at check-in, but they actually ship them? We just booked a trip for early May, and in MDE where you select bands it says to complete order by 4/26 to have them for pick up at check in, but when I get to the check out screen the shipping address is my home address. Do you think we would get them in time if they do ship, or does every order have a shipping address even if they get picked up at the resort?

I just placed our order for a mid-April trip and thought for sure it would be sent to the resort for us to pick up (was hoping for that actually) but it looked the same as you said, like it’s being shipped to our house. It had my address etc. I haven’t gotten a shipping notice or anything but I’m pretty sure they won’t get here before we go. Bummed as I really thought they would just go to the resort. Fingers crossed.

If you ordered you MB fewer than 10 but more than 6 days prior to your arrival, it will ship to the resort regardless of what address is listed. If you ordered greater than 10 days, it will ship to your address.
