Magic Band ?- only 3 fp??

I know you can only register for 3 fast passes in advance. But if you bring your park tickets, can you get addition fast passes with them? Thanks!

Here's what we found this weekend. We could use our MagicBands for the 3 scheduled. We could use our tickets for paper fast passes as the system used to work. And we could ALSO use our room keys for paper fast passes. So we were actually better off than before. Of course, fastpass times seemed to advance much faster than before, and we spent 90 minutes and 2 visits to guest relations getting things sorted out the first day...

Since it is still in test phase, they are still issuing KTTW for "backup". Rumor is that is going to stop.

Thanks! I know you get them in the mail before you leave for Disney. Do you need to have them "activated" when you check in? Thanks

They had us activate our magic bands upon check in. We had to touch them then enter the pin number we selected (twice). Maybe it's because we had charging on our bands and my daughter had to because she had dining credits on her band. We've been home a week and while we were there, we too heard that they were going to stop issuing KTTW card, but it seems they still are issuing them upon checkin.
