magic band newbie help

We are totally confused on how this stuff works. We were planning on buying tickets from a discounted program through my work. (the program is called working advantage program). What we are wondering is we are not sure if we will get a voucher or a Disney Ticket when we buy the 3 day ticket. If we get a voucher there is no way we can link the tickets to the magic band correct? So if yes we will be out of luck getting fast passes 60 days in advance? Should I call this place and see what they give us? It does say we will be getting a e-ticket when putting it in like we are purchasing the tickets. Also is it unusual for the tickets to be good till December 31, 2019? Any help would be appreciated because this magic band sounds confusing.

1. Won't matter.
2. Nothing is ever "linked to" a MagicBand (MB.)
Tickets, etc. are linked to your MyDisneyExperience (MDX) account.
A MB can then ACCESS the tickets, etc. when you scan them.
"Vouchers" (or "e-Tickets") have numbers on them that can (generally) be linked to your MDX account.
3. If the vouchers can be linked to MDX, you WILL be able to make your advance FP+ when the date arrives.
4. Why wouldn't you?
5. Sounds alright to me.
6. That is 100% normal and correct for currently-purchased tickets.
7. MagicBands don't even enter into this kind of thing.
You don't need MagicBands to buy or use WDW tickets, or to make or use FP+.
MagicBands are just a type of convenience tool used once you arrive in Orlando.

1) I can't speak specifically to Working Advantage Program, but if it says you'll be getting an E-ticket, then you should be able to link that ticket in your My Disney Experience account.
2) Once linked, you can make Fast Passes based on if you are on site/off site, etc.
3) Your Magic Bands access whatever is in your MDE account, so no worries there.
4) Tickets sold now expire 12/31/19, so that's completely normal.

My other suggestion is to check out the ticket prices from the many, many other authorized WDW ticket discounters.
I don't know what kind of discount is offered by the one you are addressing, but you should check others,
as they offer various discounts on various tickets at various times of the year.

NOTHING is ever linked to your Magic Band!
EVERYTHING is connected through your My Disney Experience account.

Magic Bands are merely an access key to your MDE account.

You're not linking the tickets to the bands directly.
You link the bands to MDE and you link the tickets to MDE.
As long as you have a ticket number you can link the ticket to MDE.
You'll have to contact the place to ask what purchasing through them entails.
Yes its normal for there to be an expiration date.
