Magic band issued for cancelled reservation

I received an email this morning saying that my magic band will be waiting at my resort. I can only assume that this is from a reservation that I made in March for an October trip that I cancelled in April. I can't find the reservation on the website because it is cancelled.

Has this happened to anyone?

Happened to us for a rez we cancelled in June. I called and they said just to ignore.

Yes, there's no need to worry, or anything you need to do. The e-mail was an error.

Thanks for the replies! It is showing a new magic band in my account. I guess that I'll just deactivate it.

Stuff like this, with the Magic Band waste drives me crazy. Yet they stop giving plastic straws and lids? Why not find a way to not give so many MBs? Encourage recycling them? OK, rant over.
