Magic Band/FP+ testing ending Jan 5th 2014

I have split reservations on BWV and SSR - One starting Jan 3rd and the other Jan 8th. I'd been trying to link my will call ticket number to my reservation, but only the BWV reservation is available to link. Also the magic bands are only available for the BWV reservation. When I called the MDE help desk to get the SSR reservation linked the lady explained that the test will run until Jan 5th and they don't know yet what will happen after.
It looks like I will only have a couple of days to test the FP+ myself, unless they announce something very soon. I was looking forward to go to Toy Story Mania one more time as the last two times I went there the fast passes where gone way too early and stand by lines were really long. FP+ looked like the right way to try without having to wake up early or run like a crazy person to try to get a decent return time (I'm NOT and will never be drop-rope kind of person - I'm on vacation!).
Fingers crossed for either a test extension or definitive implementation.

I'm right there with you. We have a three way split stay starting January 3rd, SSR, BWV, AKV. I'm curious as to what the FP+ situation will be like as well. We used them in September and really liked them.

Your thread title is misleading. Testing has been extended through 1/5 but it doesn't necessarily end then. They have been extending testing one month at a time. For December they have extended it to 1/5 because of the busy holiday period. Testing may very well be extended past that point. If it is not it will likely be because the system is fully rolled out.

You should know by mid to late November. That is the timeframe the last few months have followed.
