Magic Band for a 2yr old

DS, DDIL, DGD will be in Disney with the memory maker. We are not linked together as friends and family which I have written the reason in another thread. Anyway, will the 2yr have the memory maker attached to her band or is her band just for decoration because of her age. DH and I will be taking her to see princesses while DS and DDIL will be riding the big rides and we're hoping her band works for the photopass photographer.

As long as her name is registered in the resort reservation. Mine got hers last year.

Do you have MM yourself? If so you can just send those photos to her parents after.

Photos will be sent to your MDE where Memory Maker is linked. Her MB will be active and because it is linked to your MDE, photos will be linked back to you.

So what you are saying is that the magic band for the 2yr old does work just like for anyone with a band. Also that the memory maker is attached to her band. We are not linked in friends and family as I messed up trying to link us and don't want to take a chance of deleting anything for anyone so leaving it as is.

My two year olds band was linked to him, he was in the family list, but no ticket. If his band was scanned it went to my memory maker

The band will operate just like anyone else's band.

There isn't anything attached to the band. The band is attached to your MDX account. If you have Memory Maker on the account it will work with any band connected to the account. If what you are saying is that her band is not connected to your account... don't know how that works.

As long as he is linked to whoever purchased the MM entitlement, they should show up. I will add how much my 2 year old LOVED scanning his band. He loved unlocking our hotel room door and the cast members were very nice and patient to let him "scan" into the parks and FP lines too. His would just turn blue instead of green. I am so glad they send MBs to the little guys. He would have been very sad if he didn't have one.
