Magic band for 2 yo?

Will our 2 yo get a Magic Band when ours are sent to us? And if not, can we buy one at our value resort ( even if it's just for show)? Little sister must have everything big sister does so this could be an issue.

Everyone on the reservation gets a Magic Band for exactly the reason you mentioned - so that the little ones won't feel left out.

Well, they all have an RFID chip in them, if that's what you mean, but since there's no ticket linked to them, no, they won't scan. The little ones can certainly put their bands up to the scanners just like everyone else, though, because I'm sure they'll copy what everyone else is doing.

My friend told who works for Disney told us to have DS wear his when he was 2. Bc if he gets lost or anything his info is on the chip

They will scan to open your resort room door. But there is no charging privilege on them and no ticket.

My DS had one when 2 last year. Half the time he wore and and half the time not. When he was wearing it he always wanted to have his scanned for food, park entrance, purchasing. The CM's were so nice and would pretend to scan his too

When DD was 2 she loooooved wearing and scanning her magic bands, and all the CMs were great about congratulating her on turning Mickey's head blue

I have no idea if they would use the MBs for ID if a child is lost.

Yes, everyone gets a MK even those under 2. My 10 month old got a MB.
